Danbury – This summer Ragged Mountain is replacing the historic Spear Triple chairlift with a new Doppelmayr High Speed Detachable Quad Chair. The new chair will enable skiers and riders to enjoy high-speed access to both of Ragged’s peaks. The Elmwood Lodge is being improved. Hungry skiers and riders will benefit from a complete revamp in the Pub upstairs as well as a new wood-fired pizza restaurant. Improvements at Ragged Mountain this year will exceed $5 million in total.
