Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort: New triple chairlift installation

Lift Maintenance Team took a significant next step in the installation of our new lower mountain chairlift as helicopter crews flew the new chairlift towers out on the mountain. Watching a Black Hawk helicopter carry a 40+ foot (nearly 1000 lbs) chairlift tower out onto the mountain is definitely one of the more impressive sights to experience.

This new Triple Nugget Chairlift will replace our former Chairlifts 1 & 2 at the base area, beginning where the rope tow started and extending up to where the top of Chairlift 2 ended.  This will open up the lower mountain terrain which used to require both chairlifts for complete access. Even better, the new chairlift will load right in front of the Creekside Lodge, removing the lengthy hike up the hill, which used to leave you winded by the time you got on Chairlift 1 or 2.
